ASDA is recruiting the following vacancies for their new The Home Shopping Hub – ENFIELD
Pickers
Using a Palm Pilot, Pickers will pick the shopping for customers. Speed and energy are essential. Also, good customer service skills are essential even though they are not in direct contact with the customer.
Loaders
Loaders will take shopping baskets from the conveyor belt to the vans and load vans in geographical order. Speed and organisation are essential.
Drivers
A normal car licence licence is needed with preferably no more than 3 points. Drivers will deliver “baskets” to the customer. The average shop is £80 and good customer service skills is essential.
Replenishers
Often working night shifts, Replenishers replenish stock on the shelves.
Job Roles
• All ASDA colleagues will be paid £7.09ph. Colleagues working nights will be paid 60p ph more but this is to be confirmed.
• Full time (38 hours per week) and part-time shifts (minimum 12 hours tbc) will be available enabling flexible working.
• There will be a lot of cross-over between roles with preferred applicants “multi-skilled” and able to perform more than one role. They are called “Busters”
